January 2023

Well the last year passed us all by in a flash, we all agreed we do not know where it has gone. Many of us have a feeling of new freedoms after the last couple of years of the Covid restrictions. Christmas  2022 enabled people to spend time with their families and enjoy Christmas celebrations in their homes as well. New Year has come and gone so quickly! The people we support in supported living services have been finding their feet again, regaining confidence in getting out and about, exploring new experiences and gaining more independence again. People living in Cheshire West & Chester have been out to visit Chester Zoo, Delamere Forest, been bowling, to the Cinema, to the Golf range, had visits to live wrestling, to see Dreamgirls, Callabro with further such outings planned into the year.

A big thank you for all the hard work and commitment for all the people working in the supported living services who have pulled together and supported each other so well over the last couple of years to the benefit of the we have the privilege to care for and support.

We had a CQC inspection at the end of last year, and achieved 'Good' again across all 5 domains, this again because of the work and commitment of every staff member - a big THANK YOU.

Hillcrest our Care Home in Manchester escaped the worst that Covid brought and we had no outbreaks in the home, well done to Lorna and her team, the families of the people living at Hillcrest have been so grateful for the work that staff have done there keeping their loved ones safe & secure & importantly content. The doors have opened again to family and friends visiting and local groups such as school children who have been able to visit, and entertainment has re-commenced. Well done the Hillcrest team.

December 2021

We have just undertaken a satisfaction survey with the people we support who live in the Cheshire area, results to follow shortly.

Everyone is looking forward to Christmas and we are all hoping that it will be a good one and that the rise in Covid cases across the country and in the North West is not to traumatic for us all, and that restrictions are not too severe.

November 2021

We are delighted to announce the recruitment of Joanne Pierce as the Registered Manager Designate. Jo will be based in Ellesmere Port and will manage our services across Cheshire and Greater Manchester.
